Back by popular demand, Town of Oyster Bay Chabad announces the party of the year, "Purim Mexican Fiesta 2" , celebrating the joyous Jewish festival of Purim, where the wicked Haman was defeated before he fulfilled his evil plot to annihilate the Jewish nation. Program begins at 7:30 P.M., and will take place at TOB Chabad, 678 Woodbury Rd, Woodbury.
Participants will feast on authentic Mexican fare, including tacos, burritos, jalepeno poppers, guacamole, quesadillas, nachos, enchiladas, sangria and more. The live Mariachi band will add joy to the festivities. The Purim Megillah (ancient scroll of Purim story) will be read, accompanied by lively booing for the evil Haman. Mexican Attire optional.
