Our services are inspirational, educational and easy to follow and customized to fit your needs and give you the best experience possible. Our services are not too long and not too short. Just enough to do the whole thing and not get frustrated. Many of the prayers are explained and the rabbi sprinkles stories, jokes, anecdotes and lots of surprises to keep you interested.

Hebrew/English prayer books are used throughout the service and Rabbi Lipszyc provides a running commentary with explanatory insights. Our popular Cantor Levi Cohen will lead the congregation with his heartfelt voice and traditional tunes. Our goal is for you come out of the experience inspired and excited to start a new year.

Town of Oyster Bay Chabad is dedicated to helping every Jew increase their level of Jewish knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment. We encourage you to participate regardless of your background, affiliation or level of observance.

In no way is the commitment to a religious lifestyle a prerequisite to one's acceptance at Chabad. There are no judgements and expectations. You don't have to read Hebrew. Our Hebrew/English annotated prayer books are user friendly, and during services, page numbers are called regularly so even a novice attendee will feel at ease.
