Valeriya Khomar was born in Kiev, Ukraine, where she was classically educated in fine arts. She moved to Canada with her family in 1995. In 2013 Valeriya started a full-time career as a visual artist, and found an enthusiastic worldwide audience within a very short time.

It's my pleasure to share my experience. The painting was done on glass using acrylic and glass paints, as well as modelling pastes and Pebeo relief outliners. Lots of medias is not it? :)
By manipulating those materials, you can achieve the deepness of the background and clearness of the glass (challah, candleholders & candles).

I used mixed media. A few modeling pastes for the background, then acrylic and glass paint, and golden/black outliners on glass.
