Once again Chabad volunteers will deliver a festive Purim Plate of hamentashen and assorted snacks to your relatives and friends (within Nassau and Western Suffolk Counties) at a nominal cost , to assist you in performing the mitzvah of mutual gifts of food and drink, mishloach manot.
Purim is celebrated annually on the 14th day of Adar, Sunday Feb 28th, the day following the victory of the Jews over their enemies.

Purim commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people of the ancient Persian Empire from Haman's plot to annihilate them, by casting lots to determine the day upon which to exterminate the Jews, as recorded in the Book of Esther.
Purim is characterized by public recitation of the Book of Esther, giving mutual gifts of food and drink (mishloach manot), giving charity to the poor (mattanot la-evyonim), and a celebratory meal (se'udat Purim), other customs include drinking wine, wearing of masks and costumes, and public celebration.
The Chabad of the Town of Oyster Bay will provide the following service:
1 Purim Plate on the TOBC list = $18
Each additional plate = $5
Purim Plate not on the list ( but within the community) = $15
You may request, to automatically reciprocate to all those who send you a plate, without any inconvenience to you, for the cost of $5 per plate.
The form must be received by the Chabad of the Town of Oyster Bay, no later than Sunday, February 14th in order to ensure timely delivering on Purim.
Each Purim dish will contain an assortment of Purim foods, such as, hamantashen, chocolates and fruit, be decoratively wrapped on an elegant plate, and enclose a greeting card identifying the names of those who sent it.
Don’t delay. It is best to order early as Purim is rapidly approaching.
