The festival of Purim is a day of much joy and celebration commemorating the day that the Jewish Nation was saved from a decree of total annihilation, dictated by the evil Haman, minister in the ancient land of Persia.

The customs of Purim include hearing the Megilah (scroll of story), wearing costume, gifts of food to friends, charity to the poor, festive dinner, and eating Hamantashen (three cornered filled cookie) .

Come in costume, dine on delicious Italian Buffet, hear the Megillah reading, and have fun!
